Zen Rakusu, cotton with wood ring. We make the Zen Rakusu out of black, which is most often used. If you need another color, such as, navy, brown, maroon, saffron, Chan style White Fabric if you wish.

Rakusu is worn by Buddhist monks and lay-people who have received the precepts from their teacher.

Four Gates offers completed Rakusu and case. The Rakusu carry case is ordered separately, and is highly recommended for storage, maintaining cleanliness as well as safe transportation.

If you have a fabric from which you would like a Rakusu made, i.e., brocade, linen, or other fabrics these must be supplied by the customer. Send us an e-mail to let us know. We can accommodate with your submitted fabric.

Note: Allow at least 5-7 weeks for the Rakusu to be created, and then shipping time.  Please arrange with us for expedited air services for must have deadlines or rush orders.
