Zen Lay Robe Summer Weight

The Zen Lay robe, Summer Weight is a traditional Soto formal style meditation garment appropriate for use in the Zendo meditation hall by the lay Zen practitioner.

It is 20% lighter than our regular Zen Lay Robe fabric. This fabric is the perfect choice for warmer seasons. Please ask to insure it's still on hand before ordering if you need one quickly.

We recommend a Kimono with an obi belt or Jubon beneath the Robe to keep the robe clean. The Jubon or Kimono is especially helpful in the fall-early spring or in cold weather. 

Zen Lay robe sizes: small, medium and large are standard, sizes XL-XXXL are an additional 20%. 

For colors other than black, advise us in advance of your intention to provide the custom color fabric. We will provide the amount of fabric you will need to purchase, and send to us via UPS or FedEx. 

Very Important: When ordering, place the following information in the comments/notes section: your height, weight, bust or chest size and hips, arm length and height to 3" above your ankle to adjust the garment to fit best. And, if you are providing the special color fabric, include that as well in the comments section of the order form.
