Nagpa Meditation Shawl

The Nagpa Meditation Shawl, aka, Ngakpa Zhen shawl, has the traditional deep burgundy and white striped pattern. The fabric is call the Burae, which is a mixed of cotton and silk.

It a popular addition to our meditation clothing line. It can be worn by both lay meditators, monks and nuns as well. They are sometimes called Tantric Shawls and are made in Bhutan. The Nagpa Meditation Shawl is made of medium weight cotton with delicate fringe on both ends. They are richly colored as it is a durable meditation garment if cared for properly.

You wear this just like our Zen Shawls, pictured on the previous page. Draped it over the left shoulder, and across the back in traditional style.

One size fits all, approximately 35" x 108".

Important note: We recommend separately hand washing in cold water with a very mild detergent, then hang to dry. If you want to be more careful, then dry cleaning is recommended to prevent the colors from running.
