Antique Conch Shell 108 Mala, 7-8mm beads with single guru bead. This is a beautiful rare, vintage mala with beads of various sizes, the largest of which are 8mm. Part of the charm of older malas, is they have more variations in the beads, nicks or variations. This mala may have been made during an era when tumbling beads was not as easy at today. The beads have a range of subtle marbling variations in color, which is natural with conch shell. Each bead has striated, unique colors, features and shapes, with some less round than others. It is a excellent example of a an older conch shell, strung on cotton cording. Origin is from Indian.
