Filling bird feeders and placing prayer flags near them creates blessings

Something that brings me joy each day is dedicating the merit (positive karma or energy) of any constructive action I take to the welfare of all beings. Taking this enlightened approach undercuts ego clinging while giving rise to the welfare of the world around you. Even enjoying a meal can be an act of service if while eating we think of wishing everyone fullness of life in every way possible.

I recently dusted off several bird feeders, filled the bird baths and have been enjoying making offerings through giving to the birds. When filling the feeders and bird baths, I imagine sending out blessings to all animals, all humans and the many invisible helpers, angels, Buddhas, saints, non-humans on all levels. As you wish happiness, and take actions to bring happiness to others your life is blessed. Through you flows the good energy of your pure nature. When holding this motivation you become a channel for good, true and beautiful energy. Every action you take has the potential to bring beneficial blessings to the world.

By placing prayer flags near the bird feeders, or other areas around your home, office, church, temple, cabin or retreat center creates powerful feng shui energies. Blessing your environment on a daily basis is an essential act of service not only to yourself but as important to anyone who comes in contact with your life. You are the gift of blessing.
